PHP is what I happen to consider my main strength, I am confident in making websites with this language. So far I made (or ran prototypes of) several strong frameworks with it. For example, I created, designed and built a fully functional forum and chat panel from the ground up. They were one of my numerous works that helped me receive my web development degree.

I mostly taught myself Javascript and JQuery over the years and have created an HTML5 canvas game from scratch. With JQuery I can “decorate” a website with certain eye-candy effects. Besides that, I am still practicing it to this day in an effort to use it for more (and bigger) tasks in the future.

Honestly, I struggled with CSS until I had the opportunity to undergo an internship where I was required to learn the language in mere weeks. Since then I always design and use HTML5/CSS3 as a standard for my own projects (like this website!). I took on a second internship which tasked me with the creation of email templates, which I then tested with Mailchimp.

Since I do PHP I do MySQL(i) as well, I utilized it for almost every PHP project I have ever done so far. The tool I have most often used for commands is PHPmyAdmin.

I created my own CMS once (I lost the files unfortunately) but my first true CMS was in WordPress. After that, I quickly got to experience Drupal and Magento CMS's as well. I do admit that I have been inactive in this field for quite some time now, however the experience is there.

Before receiving my degree at Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam, I took the liberty of looking at a few other languages, such as Lua and C++/C#. I am planning on developing newer projects on them soon.
